Salix Small Hook Earrings with Gold - All Colors

These earrings are cast in Sterling silver, with a channel of glass enamel fired into the center. In each earring I've fused flakes of 23K gold foil into the surface of glass enamel. Most often I'll use a solid color background, and use the density of the flakes to create a color shift. These earringas hang on a hook that mirrors the form of the shape and adds about a half inch to the total length.

Measurements:

Each earring is 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) long, including the hook, and 1/4 inch (.6 cm) wide. Each pair of hook earrings will include rubber stoppers to keep the earrings securely in place.

Tips:

Click on the image to see more accurate colors. The main element of the earrings is the same size in both the hook and post earring styles. The hooks add an additional 1/2 inch in length.
